My newest project is located in Lisbon, more precisely at Vila Cândida. This first floor reveals itself as a challenge to maximize all the area through a complete facelift operation. The main intention is to take advantage of the generous floor height, and also from a little attick above it in order to turn it into a loft.

Hi! I'm Márcio and I have graduated in Architecture from Lisbon´s Lusíada University. I currently live in Amadora, a city near Lisbon. I really love to collect and to play electric guitars and also to play drums. Additionally, I also love to surf, even though not as often as I wish. Work keeps me really busy.
I had been working as freelancer in several marketing and consulting agencies since I started my undergrad degree in 1998. Being a freelancer allowed me to realize my interest in multimedia arts, advertising, and all the subsequent process that leads to the final stage of brand marketing operation. Following these interests I started to work as a (web) designer after my degree in 2007.

- Info: This project was made for the first Benzine demo cover. The intention was to work the concept with the band sound and his own name. Benzine is a very volatile substance as also the band´s sound.

- Info: This project was for the Benzine merchandise. Inspired on a pick we can see it behind the lettering designed by the flames. This was the last result of many studies. It was printed on black and grey tshirts.

- Info: Muad´dib´s professional presentation card. The concrete texture was used for beeing a construction material. The process of creation in Webdesign and Architecture are very similiar. That´s why the choise of that texture.

- Info: Muad´dib´s professional second presentation card. The rusty texture was used to explore a plastic look as also the hand in the backside of the card. We use our hands as tools to create that´s why the choice of a more plastic approach.

- Info: Working along with Peritraço was a great experience. A junior team of architects with bright and fresh new ideas. Simplicity was the keyword as also the clean look for this website.

- Info: This case study was inspired in serveral tutorials websites that I often check to keep me updated. The main intention was to practice diferent aproaches and ways of designing and also to practice some code.
Flat House in Caxias
- Client: House for a young Architect.

- Info: House for a young architect. The intention was to explore the landscape and the sight to the other hill and also the Atlantic Sea. An old water tank was transformed into a new backyard.
Berardo´s Collection Museum
- Client: Câmara Municipal de Oeiras
- Website: NA
- Info: Study for Berardo´s Collection Museum. The main ideia was to join two parts of the city separated by the river, that would bring life to the other side. The building was conceived, inspired by a chromatic musical scale.
